Women's Empowerment Programme at The ClementJames Centre

Dear all,

I hope you are well. I'm writing regarding the second cycle of the Women's Empowerment Programme at The ClementJames Centre. After a successful first round, we are looking forward to starting another course in a few weeks' time.

The course will focus primarily on confidence building and personal and professional development. It will enable participants to reflect on their interests, recognise their achievements, and think about any aspirations and goals they would like to pursue. In addition, it will give women the opportunity to participate in various workshops on cooking and healthy eating, DIY skills, and music to name a few.

The eight week course will begin on Thursday 1st May and take place at our centre close to Latimer Road tube station.

There will be a taster and registration session on Thursday 17th April beginning at 1:15 – 2:30pm (RSVP essential) where prospective participants will be able to gain an overview of the course, meet women who have just completed the programme, and have the opportunity to ask any questions. Participants who wish to sign up for the programme must attend the taster session.

As the course takes place in a small group setting, we only have six places remaining, and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you have any clients who would benefit from such a programme, please ask them to get in touch by Monday 14th April to let us know they would like to attend the taster day.

Finally, if you would like to see what we have been up to over the past few weeks, please have a look at our blog, here: http://cjcwep.wordpress.com/

Best wishes,
