In June, the guest ensemble of our beloved 'Enescu Concerts' Series is the amazing Maxim Quartet, an ensemble much revered for its disciplined pathos and daring repertoire. In 1 Belgrave Square, their choice of programme, served by an unusual combination of piano, flute, accordion and double bass, reads like a brilliant rush through 100 years of great music and includes works by Stravinski, Glazunov, Fauré, Constantinescu, Olah, Dediu and of course Enescu. more

The anniversary of these amazing 10 years of projects nourished by European values&imagination is hosted by the British Council and features the fabulous British-Romanian DJ Nico de Transilvania. more

GABRIEL ACHIM'S HILARIOUSLY DARK COMEDY 'THE LAST DAY' PREMIERS IN LONDON

We are thrilled to support the international premiere of 'The Last Day' (Ultima zi), a people's favourite in Romania, in the presence of director Gabriel Achim and screenwriter Cosmin Manolache. The London Festival of Architecture, a citywide celebration of international built environment, provides the perfect setting for a showcase of the finest conservation projects in Romania. The exhibition opens with a panel discussion in the company of architect Vlad Sebastian Rusu, winner of this year's EU Prize for Cultural Heritage, architect Șerban Cantacuzino CBE, businessman and philanthropist Nicolae Rațiu MBE, and author Jessica Douglas-Home, chaired by Dr Timothy Brittain-Catlin.
