The Romanian Cultural Institute is delighted to invite you to celebrate the launch of George Tomaziu's English translation of the 'The Witness', the stunning memoir of an artist who had the courage to rise against the two great evils of the 20th century, Nazism and Soviet Russia. Join Jane Reid, the artist's friend and translator, the author's son Georges Tomazi and celebrated writer Alan Judd to unveil the exemplary tale of heroism, endurance and survival. With introductory remarks by John Owen of John Sandoe Books.
Accompanied by a glass of wine.
