Celebrating one of the great minds of the 20th Century View in your browser Wednesday 13 April 2016, 7pm The Romanian Cultural Institute, 1 Belgrave Square We are delighted to invite you to an evening dedicated to Mircea Eliade, the legendary writer and historian of religion, and the focus of this year's Romanian programme at the London Book Fair. Professors Sorin Alexandrescu, Florin Țurcanu and Bryan Rennie, as well as translator Christopher Moncrieff and editor Susan Curtis-Kojakovic will reflect on Eliade's cultural legacy and discuss the relevance of his works in today's era.   With a photographic adagio, illustrating Eliade's life and work. Followed by a glass of wine. Free entry. Please book in advance if you wish to attend. The Romanian presence at the LBF 2016 is organised by the Romanian Cultural Institute's National Book Centre and the Romanian Cultural Institute in London, with the support of the Romanian Embassy, Waterstones Piccadilly, the Romanian Publishers Association, Istros Books, Penguin Books and Profusion Books.
