Societatea Romanca participa la Festivalul Callatis , 9-15 august 2011, Roma
Festivalul Callatis se va desfăşura în premieră în afara graniţelor ţării, la Roma, în perioada 9 - 15 august, şi va cuprinde mai multe manifestări printre care Simpozionul Românilor de Pretutindeni, Salonul Artiştilor Români de Pretutindeni, Miss Diaspora, dar şi spectacole de muzică.
Potrivit Mediafax ediţia 2011 se va desfăşura sub genericul "Grazzie Roma. Callatis ti saluta!". În acest an, în premieră, Festivalul Callatis - Festivalul Românilor de Pretutindeni se desfăşoară în afara graniţelor ţării la propunea Asociaţiei Românilor din Italia, pornind de la faptul că în Italia se află cea mai mare comunitate românească din diasporă.
Cea de-a XII-a ediţie a Festivalului Callatis, cu toate brandurile evenimentului - Simpozionul Românilor de Pretutindeni - Hai Acasă, Plaza România, Salonul Artiştilor Români de Pretutindeni (SARP) şi Miss Diaspora -, este organizată de Asociaţia Românilor din Italia (ARI), Pro Familia şi Aldaco Film, sub patronajul Roma Capitale (Primăria Generală a Romei).

Am simţit şi filtrat prin propria respiraţie aerul tare al străinătaţii călătorind şi trăind în diferite colţuri ale lumii.
Mulţi dintre noi au avut nevoie să se refere strict cu “acasa ” atunci când era vorba de România sau de valenţele ei spirituale, patrimoniale sau afective pe care le reprezintă.
Cu timpul am adăugat acestui sens de “acasa”elementele locului in care fiecare işi trăieşte miracolul redescoperirii şi unde revenim din fiecare călătorie cu plăcerea unui ‘’acasa’’ adoptiv.
Vine apoi un timp când descoperim că putem călători în lume purtând România în suflet , înnobilată de sensul unirii în suflet şi simţiri a 10-15 milioane de români indiferent de meridianul pe care ne aflăm.
Pentru ca sunt multe lucruri care ne unesc la bucurii sau la tristeţi, pe noi toţi acesti români risipiti in lume, noi luam lucrurile aşa cum sunt rămânând verticali si răzbind să facem rădăcini acolo unde ne-am stabilit.
În primul rând dorul acesta ancestral de acasă de locul acela în care totul se petrecea mai uşor, mai in siguranţa, în cauşul cald oferit de familie si prieteni. Apoi faptul că împărtăşim aceasta verticalitate a românului trăitor în credinţa strămoşească pe care o poartă cu el oriunde radiind încredere în sine şi în oameni indiferent de cât de deasa ar fii pădurea umană in care viata ne conduce.
Să nu uităm apoi această nesfârşită potenţialitate a creativităţii româneşti care ne ajută să ne raportăm la existenţă intr-un adevărat spirit entuziast şi original adaptându-ne cu generozitate mediului care ne oferă siguranţa traiului de zi cu zi.
Şi dincolo de toate acestea ne uneşte o imensă responsabilitate faţa de noi inşine si faţă de ceea ce lăsăm in urmă. Căci suntem 10-15 milioane
de români in diaspora chiar dacă cifrele diferă în functie de sursa statisticilor, noi reuşim să rămânem uniţi, puternici şi vizibili chiar dacă nu avem un guvern, o armată sau o reprezentare consistentă în structurile statale româneşti, care să ne gestioneze reuşitele sau mai nereuşitele unor vieţi trecătoare dar perene.
Caci ceea ce avem este responsabilitatea solidarităţii noastre pentru ca spiritul românesc sa dăinuie în lume cu demnitate , cu respect si perenitate.
Pentru că acestă conştiinţă de sine există cu forţa identităţii naţionale individuale oglindite într-o lume din ce in ce mai mult multiculturală, pentru că existăm in aceste condiţii in lume , pentru aceasta Radio Tv Unirea există şi vă aşteaptă alături la acest început de drum.

Pe 9 august, de la ora 20.00, la Accademia di Romania din Roma, va avea loc deschiderea oficială a Salonului Artiştilor Români de Pretutindeni 2011, la care vor participa artişti de origine română din nouă ţări, în cadrul secţiunilor: Arte plastice - Marc Marinescu (Canada), Vasile Bedreaga, Emil Mateiaş, Ioan Astaluş (Germania), Augustin Ghebaru, Ana Nisipeanu, Carmen Ştefan, Dragoş Iordache (Spania), Camelia Mirescu, Sanda Sudor, Aurora Sanda Voicu, Alin Constantin Agape (Italia), Laura Dima (Olanda); Design vestimentar - Camelia Ghebaru (Spania), Maria Cristea (Moldova), Maryna Kărăbuş (Ucraina); Lansări de carte - Monica Săvulescu Vouduri (Grecia), Stelian Ilie Constantin (Canada), Ionela Flood (Anglia), Viorel Băetu (Germania), Lelia Bratu (Spania), Ionela van Rees - Zota (Germania); Lansări muzicale: Elena Santamaria (Spania); Teatru - "Iubeşte-mă America!", un spectacol de Claudia Motea (Canada) şi Al. G. Croitoru. Salonul va fi deschis până pe 15 august, între orele 16.00 - 22.00.
Tot în perioada 9 - 15 august, în pieţe centrale ale Romei se desfăşoară programul interactiv de promovare a tradiţiilor şi turismului românesc Plaza România. La manifestare participă Cercul de desen Culoare şi Vis, din Corbeni, Argeş, condus de profesorul Elena Stoica, Cornelia Tihon cu cele 22 de instrumente ale sale şi ansamblul folcloric Căluşarii Slatinei. Turiştii şi localnicii, vor admira costume populare tradiţionale, vor învăţa să picteze şi să danseze şi vor primi materiale de promovare a turismului în Romania.
Totodată, între 11-15 august, la Ergife Palace Hotel se desfăşoară cea de-a XI-a ediţie a Simpozionului Românilor de Pretutindeni - "Hai Acasă", la care vor participa reprezentanţi ai asociaţiilor româneşti din 17 ţări. Moderatorii vor fi Sorin Cehan şi Monica Zvirjinschi, iar principalele teme ale dezbaterii vor fi: Structuri de asociere în diaspora, Votul prin corespondenţă, Mass media din diaspora, Rolul diasporei pentru promovarea României, ca destinaţie turistică, Propunere de înfiinţare a Ministerului Românilor de Pretutindeni, Adoptarea Pactului de la Roma - un document programatic despre noua relaţie a diasporei cu România.
Reprezentanţii asociaţiilor româneşti din diaspora vor prezenta: Gazeta Românească (Italia), Ziarul Românesc (Marea Britanie), Ziarul Impact (Canada), ziarul Vocea ta (Germania), postul Radio Helsinki (Austria), Radio R Romania (Germania), emisiunea în limba română de la TV Barcelona. De asemenea, va fi lansat postul Radio TV Unirea (Marea Britanie - Austria).
Pe 14 august, români, italieni şi turişti din toată lumea sunt invitaţi la un eveniment simbolic - Hora Unirii (Danza dell'Unità) -, dedicat celor 150 de ani de la unificarea Italiei. Această Horă a Unirii se va desfăşura între podurile din jurul Insulei Tiberina şi va avea un perimetru de peste doi kilometri. O altă premieră la Callatis 2011 o constituie realizarea înfrăţirilor dintre: Sectorul III Roma şi Municipiul Slatina, Sectorul VII Roma şi Sectorul 5 Bucureşti şi Santa Marinella şi Limanu.
Spectacolele din cadrul Callatis vor începe pe 9 august, cu "Grazie Roma, Callatis ti saluta!", în care vor evolua Andrei Păunescu & Totuşi, Emeric Imre, Radu Pietreanu & Mihai Napu şi Evandro Rossetti. Pe 11 august, va avea loc spectacolul folcloric "Callatis, amore mio", iar în ziua următoare - "Balade din Carpaţi", cu Felicia Filip , K1, Nicolae Voiculeţ, Romeo & Julia Saleno, Olga Bălan şi ansamblul folcloric Căluşarii Slatinei. Pe 13 august, Matilda Pascal Cojocăriţa, Steliana Sima, Ro-Mania, Nicolae Voiculeţ, Ştefan Cigu şi ansamblul folcloric Ciocârlia vor prezenta un nou spectacol, iar la finalul festivalului, pe 15 august, vor urca pe scenă Talisman, Parlament, Andrei Păunescu & Totuşi, Romeo & Julia Saleno, Emeric Imre şi Radu Pietreanu.
Spectacolele vor avea loc în pieţe din Roma şi la Ergife Palace Hotel. Tot aici, pe 15 august, se va desfăşura şi Finala Miss Diaspora 2011, în cadrul căreia 23 de concurente de origine română din 17 ţări îşi vor disputa acest titlu. Între probele concursului se numără şi realizarea de către finaliste a unui clip de promovare a României ca destinaţie turistică.

A warm and musical invitation from Anda and the London Schubert Players:
Dear friends and music lovers,
The London Schubert Players continue their European musical adventure with the exploration of works written especially for them as part of the project for voice, piano and string quintet with double bass on August 24th and 25th, 6pm - 7pm in the form of open seminars, with the composers' participation and live music illustrations.
We would be delighted if you joined us the players, singers and composers - for a fascinating trip into the world of vocal and instrumental sound and their relationship, and ending with a glass of wine and conversation.
You will hear:
- a beautiful Elegy by English composer Robert Hugill with baritone Timothy Connor (24th)
- young Belarusian composer Sviatlana Rynkova's poignant Story of a Life (based on the French film Go, Live and Become (Va, Vis et Deviens) about an Ethiopian Christian boy who is given the name Shlomo, and identity of a Falasha, an Ethiopian Jew, and emigrates to Israel. Directed by Romanian-born Radu Mihăileanu, it won Most Popular International Film at the 2005 Vancouver International Film Festival and eight other international awards. The piece is written for Piano Duet and Strings and will be performed by Rynkova and myself at the piano (25th)
- Rynkova's Rain in the Pinewood with Soprano Tanya Cooling (25th)

Invitation to Composers is supported by the European Cultural Fund and has enriched Europe's cultural heritage with 40 valuable works inspired by music, literature, visual arts, history and nature. It is building bridges between great traditions of music of the past and contemporary thought, without the use of electronics and non-musical experiments. The three explore together the roots of inspiration and the journey to the final product and its execution. The performers (during workshops) and the audience (during open workshops and concerts) have the privilege of better understanding the message through a direct dialogue with the composer.

The three explore together the roots of inspiration and the journey to the final product and its execution. The performers (during workshops) and the audience (during open workshops and concerts) have the privilege of better understanding the message through a direct dialogue with the composer.

“International youth creative camp” Romania, Slatina, 1 - 10 August 2011
“International youth creative camp ” first edition, Slatina, 2011 is organized by Cultural Association Center Inter Art. Romania International Art Center in partnership with Slatina City Hall , with financial support of Ministry of culture and National Heritage and with the kind the support of Romanca Society UK and Asociatia de Tineret Ro Madrid Cultural Club.
The camp has the role to meet young artists (painters) from Romania, UK and Spain. They could exchange ideas or current art but in the same time, they have the possibility to make an exhibition with works that represents historical center of Slatina (Lipscani Street). This project offers young generations of artists, great possibilities, but in the same time it promotes Romanian contemporary art, international.
The camp creative “International youth creative camp” addresses young artists, with ages 18 – 35 years.
The camp will take place in Slatina, Olt District, during 1-10 August 2011.
The camp theme is architecture. The youth artists will make paintings with houses historical monuments from Lipscani Street.
Organizers provide internal transport (in Romania), accommodation and meals for invited participants. The participants will support the international transport.
Each participant will receive the necessary materials (except easels) and five canvases to make paintings. Each artist will donate two paintings to Slatina City Hall and one to cultural Association Center Inter Art. Romania International Art Center. The paintings will be kept in the archives of the both institutions and will be made an exhibition – debate about the architecture of the houses build on the Lipscani Street.
The authors will sign their paintings donated and the organizers might reproduce the picture, with the authors’ written consent, because they want to promote the project in mass – media, to publish these pictures in a print and / or digital catalog and the organizers want to promote the pictures in exhibitions in our country or abroad.
The artists from this camp creative will receive diplomas.

Horror crime and terror
challenging the world
scars of hidden hatred
pushing love to hell
tears of heaven given
a tsunami of despair
Stop the power game
stop the me and you
start a bigger together
to save the world
from more pain
Learn to love more, my sisters
learn to breath air not fear
then give it to the world
as an act of passion
Brothers and quiet soldiers
give your guns full hearts
and load them permanently

and hurt not.
The Tempest, Shakespeare.
The London Schubert Players welcome you to the mysterious sounds of their next journeys:
- the magical musical world of Ravel and Faure
- the film-like music of the Jewish-Ethiopian story which brought many international awards to Radu Mihaileanu's film Va, vis et deviens
- a meditation by a Serbo-Croat composer on Japanese poet Basho
- the colourful and delightful rhythms of Venezuelan and Romanian dances
- the poetical paths of Heine, Baudelaire and Tennyson put to music by composers Silvestri, Cashian and Nickol.
The two events are part of Invitation to Composers international project, which has enriched Europe’s cultural heritage in 2010 and 2011 with 40 valuable works inspired by music, literature, visual arts, history and nature. It is building bridges between great traditions of music of the past and contemporary thought, without the use of electronics and non-musical experiments. It was one of 87 projects selected by the European Commission out of 298 for its recent cultural programmes. It has caught the interest, imagination and admiration of over 100 professional composers and 80 performers worldwide, the composition department of London’s Royal Academy of Music, record distributors, festival directors and music lovers.
The book to be launched contains the Bournemouth Symphony players' impressions about the legendary Romanian conductor Constantin Silvestri; and the unique film, shown publicly in Britain for the first time on July 6th, a tremendous performance of Silvestri conducting the French National Radio Orchestra in Liszt's poem Tasso and Silvestri's own work Prelude and Fugue (Toccata).
We want to share these journeys, entrance is free and a glass of wine will be waiting for you!
