Stimate doamnelor, stimati domni,
va invitam la "Toamna Culturala Romaneasca" in perioada 27.11.2015- 29.11.2015.
Programul pentru cele trei zile il gasiti in atasament. Vom fi onorati sa il avem printre noi
si pe parintele Razvan Gasca in programul de vineri, care ne va tine o scurta prezentare despre "Icoane".
Sambata seara va asteapta un program muzical variat, din care nu vor lipsi si traditionalele colinde.

The Romanian Cultural Institute is delighted to invite you to celebrate the launch of George Tomaziu's English translation of the 'The Witness', the stunning memoir of an artist who had the courage to rise against the two great evils of the 20th century, Nazism and Soviet Russia.  Join Jane Reid, the artist's friend and translator, the author's son Georges Tomazi and celebrated writer Alan Judd to unveil the exemplary tale of heroism, endurance and survival. With introductory remarks by John Owen of John Sandoe Books. 

Accompanied by a glass of wine.

INVITATION 
 
Energy and digital mutations: impact on employment and role of economic and social actors in Europe
 
Conference organised by Confrontations Europe in partnership with
the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
 
Wednesday 25 November 2015:  9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Venue:  EESC, room JDE 62, rue Belliard, 99, 1040 Brussels
 
This conference will be opened by EESC president Georgios Dassis and will bring together more than 200 representatives of businesses, trade unions, regions, civil society and academia from a number of European countries, in a dialogue with representatives of European and national institutions with the aim of exploring and discussing the following questions:
  • What impact (in quantitative and qualitative terms) are energy and digital mutations having on employment?
  • Are industrial relations systems (dialogue between economic and social actors) adapting to meet the challenges of these mutations?
  • What conditions must the overhaul of these systems meet if competitiveness and social cohesion are to be safeguarded?
Discussions will focus on both the Europe-wide picture and a comparison between six countries: France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland and Sweden.
